Hi. I love your book. I’m an American children’s book illustrator who dreams about designing fabric. I’m trying to figure out a way to take a break from books and do some classes in surface design. Can you recommend any short-term programs in London or New England?

Re surface design - look at short courses at the Universityof the Arts, London or City Lit - they may help. Alternatively check out this site http://www.alexrussell.com/index.html
- a textile designer with a very comprehensive website that has lots of hints and tips - do spend some time reading them and then just go for it!
